PNEK presentation on speculative archiving

http://www.pnek.org/archives/1908

"The term “archive” is used extensively these days as part of the discourse on the visual art/cultural heritage both in Norway and internationally. Which ontologies and methodologies do we use to tell the stories of our time, and how is it done practically? On February 14th, PNEK and The Norwegian Video Art Archive invite to a lunch seminar with the Austrian media art historian Nina Wenhart who prescribes a radical new method to understand and incorporate contemporary cultural trends into current archival practices. Her presentation will expand on her text from last year, Speculative Archiving & Experimental preservation of Media Art, first published in connection with the Transmediale festival in Berlin 2012."
