media art histories - community building (blog, FB)

media art histories - collaborative blog

as students of oliver grau's media art histories program at the danube university in krems we started this blog in 2007. as we are a diverse and international group of people, platforms like these help us to stay connected as a group. the media art histories blog serves us as a means to stay in contact and exchange ideas, information, views, CFPs, etc

quoting on jon cates:
"In 2007 Nina Wenhart and I founded the Media Art Histories blog, a collaborative platform for the discussion and development of the discourses of Media Art Histories. This platform has facilitated discussions on the blog itself and elsewhere as the content published on the blog is read by other Media Art theorypractitioners and reblogged by other New Media Art platforms such as Rhizome.org and PUBLICCURATING by CONT3XT.NET."

current authors are:
nina wenhart, joncates, eleni michailidi, rolf wolfensberger, nicolas romanacci, winnie fu, rachelle viader-knowles, gabriele kepplinger, joanna walewska, reginald njemanze, robin peckham, venus lau, ....
